Our Tweenies Room
About Us
Our Tweenies classroom (older toddlers) caters for children aged 2 to 3 years old. We are committed in providing the best state-of-the-art learning environments, providing children with new experiences and supporting them individually. We focus on self-managed activities / play, such as dressing up, food testing / cooking and team games.
We offer a variety of fee paying and free sessions and also offer the 15 & 30 hours Early Years Funded places. Our new classroom has defined areas planned efficiently around each aspect of the 'Early Years Foundation Stage'. Our highly qualified practitioners are committed to ensure that we meet each child’s individual needs, through observing children and by making notes when necessary practitioners can make professional judgements about children’s achievements and decide on the next steps in learning.
We feel it is essential for a child to grow and develop their skills. `Messy` play, hide and seek and memory games in the nursery are also introduced. Our Tweenies benefit from having their own playground area full of resources and equipment to challenge and extend their learning. All activities are safely managed and supervised.
We have trained and hired a new experienced and qualified team. We want to offer children opportunities to experiment with new objects and activities like, hats, bags and costumes. We use giant toys and objects to encourage imagination and creativity. During play-times we will enjoy music, our new large climbing frame, picture books and rhyme time helping to develop listening skills, and sound recognition. We will offer the 2 year old free educational places.

Early Years Funding
From ages 9 months to 4 years old
What you need to know?
Parents may be able to claim a funded childcare place for their child from aged 9 months to 4 years old. If your child is:
9 months to 2 years old,
Can claim 15 hours per week of funded childcare
3 to 4 years old,
Can claim 30 hours per week of funded childcare
Eligible working parents of children aged 9 months up to 5 years old can now access 15 hours childcare support. Eligible children in England may claim 15 hours of funding, that's 570 funded hours per year. By September 2025, eligible working families with children aged between 9 months and 5 years old will be entitled to 30 hours of childcare support. Eligible children in England may claim 30 hours of funding, that's 1140 funded hours per year.
The ‘30 hours childcare’ scheme is great news for eligible families, who could claim up to double the amount childcare they are currently entitled to. This could take your funded childcare entitlement from 570 hours a year up to 1,140 hours a year. If you’re eligible for the extra hours, you can simply sign up online to get a code to give to us your childcare provider to reserve your place. You’ll get the extra hours once your code has been approved.
Here at Early Learners we stretch a child's funding over 12 months/ 52 week (instead of 38 weeks), this is to help working families and spread the savings throughout the year. Certain nurseries may also offer term-time only sessions across 38 week, however these are limited.
