Our Pre-School Room
About Us
Our Preschool room is a comfortable and creative space, caring for children aged three to four. We aim to raise standards across education and inspire children to become lifelong learners. Through our curriculum and interactions, we strive to make a positive difference to children's lives. It is our role to ensure that children experience the awe and wonder of the world in which we live in. Our education stems from the seven areas of learning. We hold individuality in high esteem, and every child, regardless of ability, is treated as such – an individual. We cater to every child’s needs, and they are very much in control of their own education. They move at their own pace, choosing their own activities and exploring their curiosity in their own time.
Our children learn so many important lessons at this early stage in their life and education, but above all we focus on fun, friendships and laughter. Our Pre-Schooler's always wear a smile. In order to cover all areas of development, we plan and teach a wide variety of sessions and activities. Our children have the opportunity to explore a vast range of learning experiences including messy play, arts and crafts, music and movement, physical education, phonics, numeracy time and exploration. We choose our specific activities predominantly relating to the children’s current interests, as this fuels their enthusiasm and helps to build upon existing skills as well as forging new ones.
We strive to keep our room colourful and exciting to attract and keep the children’s interest and to make our room a stimulating place to learn all year round. Generally, we focus on a new topic every term, which is reflected in our displays and role-play area. Our room has been transformed into a jungle, a fairy forest, a fairy tale village, an underwater cave and a sunny beach. All of these have been thoroughly enjoyed by the children, who have relished taking on different roles and carrying out new and different activities.
We are focused on children’s interests being at the heart of everything we do!

Early Years Funding
From ages 9 months to 4 years old
What you need to know?
Parents may be able to claim a funded childcare place for their child from aged 9 months to 4 years old. If your child is:
9 months to 2 years old,
Can claim 15 hours per week of funded childcare
3 to 4 years old,
Can claim 30 hours per week of funded childcare
Eligible working parents of children aged 9 months up to 5 years old can now access 15 hours childcare support. Eligible children in England may claim 15 hours of funding, that's 570 funded hours per year. By September 2025, eligible working families with children aged between 9 months and 5 years old will be entitled to 30 hours of childcare support. Eligible children in England may claim 30 hours of funding, that's 1140 funded hours per year.
The ‘30 hours childcare’ scheme is great news for eligible families, who could claim up to double the amount childcare they are currently entitled to. This could take your funded childcare entitlement from 570 hours a year up to 1,140 hours a year. If you’re eligible for the extra hours, you can simply sign up online to get a code to give to us your childcare provider to reserve your place. You’ll get the extra hours once your code has been approved.
Here at Early Learners we stretch a child's funding over 12 months/ 52 week (instead of 38 weeks), this is to help working families and spread the savings throughout the year. Certain nurseries may also offer term-time only sessions across 38 week, however these are limited.
