Understanding 30hrs F.E.E
Early Learners has rounded this entitlement up to 22½ hours per week spread over 51 weeks per year, that’s 1147.5 hours of free early education (F.E.E) per year, giving our parents more. That's potentially up to 7.5 extra hours per year. Our nurseries are closed for 1 week between Christmas and New Year. Childcare providers cannot use more than 10 hours within one day. Parents are never charged for F.E.E hours.
Government (F.E.E) funding is intended to deliver free, high quality, flexible childcare. Early Learners do not require a registration fee or deposit to register your child.
The F.E.E funding is not intended to cover the costs of additional services:
-
Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks),
-
Other consumables, (clothing or sundries),
-
Additional hours (extra wrap around hours)
-
Additional activities (trips, activities or extra programmes
Parents can therefore expect to pay for additional services offered by the childcare provider alongside their free entitlement. This is a private matter between the provider (Early Learners Nurseries) and the parent. All additional services are therefore chargeable. We only accept the payment of fees, monthly, in advance.
